IKEA Company mass produces different types of furniture and furniture for sale in stores around the world. Furniture such as beds and closets are delivered in the form of a flat package and are either installed by the owner as a DIY project, or by the IKEA Company. You can think about replacing IKEA closets once, but replacing the doors will be a cheaper and faster option, without the need for special tools.
Open the IKEA closets door and locate the hinged fixtures. Remove the doors from the old closet. Turn the screws clockwise until the hinge is loose. Make sure that you loosen both the top and bottom of the hinges. Leave the hinge fixing bracket inside the closet, as it can be reused. Insert the hinges into the recesses of the new closet door. The hinges are inserted into the pre-cut holes in the top and bottom of the door.

Secure the new IKEA closets door. Slide the hinges on the fixing bracket inside the closet. Tighten the screws until they are firm with a right-hand movement with the screwdriver. Adjust the new closet door until it locks and closes properly. Tightening and loosening the hinge screws adjusts the height and position of the closet door.
